The thing is...these natural phases don't last forever. Life has a rhythm and it's better to acknowledge and accept this fact so you can prepare for the next turn of the wheel. I am amused at the resistance to decline that is embedded in our culture. I prefer to look at it as an opportunity to support ourselves and others as we all make the inevitable transition towards decline after the blossoming has occurred.
And there is great beauty in decline...decline is a needed note in the harmony of the life cycle.
