I wanted to make a series of earrings that would have a drop length around an inch or so, and very comfortable to wear for everyday earrings. The inspiration came from my love of archeology, and the neat shape and texture of old metal buttons and coins that have been sitting undisturbed for hundreds of years. I love that look!
These double square earrings are textured with a beautiful patina and a light sand texture. They have been oxidized and matte finished for a wonderful glow and texture that feels nostalgic and warm.
I put a little curve in the back of the ear wire to help make sure they don't slip off when changing clothing.
The photo with me wearing them shows the scale; I make the same exact earring with three different finishes! The ones in the picture are the plain, unstamped version. Please make sure you are looking at the listing you want as far as the stamping/no stamping goes. Convo me with any questions!
These hang a little over an inch from the bottom of the ear wire, and every bit has been handcrafted by me.
