Southwestern SunGazer Sterling Silver Earrings with Brass Focal

The desert southwest is one of my favorite places on earth. I make a trip out there every summer and this is the pair of earrings I'll be traveling with personally.
This design was a collaborative effort with a collector of my jewelry, and she suggested I make the disc bigger than the original idea and I have to agree.
A big 7/8" inch sterling silver disc that has been texturized with hammer marks and sandpaper gives it a nice rustic aesthetic and I've set a brass textured dome as a focal point. I put some rays around the brass dome and this is why these are called SunGazer Earrings.
These are oxidized and polished. The ear wires are sterling silver. I've stamped them with my makers mark on the back.
